BARRY GOULD ARCHITECTS is an architecture and design office based in the Elgin Valley, a rural area in the Overberg region, Western Cape, 80km east of Cape Town.
We are a General Architectural Practice that has undertaken 300+ projects that include:
- RESIDENTIAL – from simple to high end, new built and alterations
- COMMERCIAL – shops, offices, wineries and tasting rooms
- COMMUNITY – crèches and schools
Our services focus on providing bespoke design solutions that touch on all aspects of the built environment – architecture, landscape and interiors.
We offer our services either as hourly paid consultants or on a project cost / percentage basis that follows the six work stages normally associated with an architectural project:
- Briefing
- Concept Design
- Design Development
- Technical Documentation – Local Authority Approval
Technical Documentation – Construction - Site Inspections
Contract Administration & Cost Control* - Close Out
*(for Contract Administration and Cost Control we prefer to rely on the assistance of a Quantity Surveyor)
We also offer house alterations and house makeover service.
